hi readers here is something about cricket in states. as i ve already represented one of the cricket club in states,called allen town cricket club in pensylvania,we played pretty hard cricket to become champions in washington cricket league in the very first season.wat i ve found there, cricket is only playing by the subcontinent people,like indians paki s srilankans,moreover west indians people love to play cricket there in states,they ve lot of local clubs there and play pretty fast cricket in clypso way,but there is some lacking in my mind,that cricket is only in the hands of immigrants. united states is only known to be for basket ball,baseball and lot of other sports,but when u tell people of states about cricket,they re clueless, they dont even knw wats goin on the field,one of the example is me,when i was playing for allent town in allen town ,few americans just talk to me while i was standing in the boundery line that," wat u guys doin" i calmly elaborates about cricket,they just think that cricket is waste of time there is states,spending whole day in the field is crazy for them.
thats was really fantastic experience for me,but now i feel cricket is now quite fast with t-20 format and its good if somebody takes innitiative to promote cricket in united states,by opening academies there and give some workshops in grass root level like schools,thats wonderfull if worlds leading nation is ready to accept cricket in there soil
so good luck cricket academies of united states.........keep it up and keep doin there work together to promote cricket...............
